(1) The Robert E. Howard Collections found in the University of California at Berkleys Bancroft Library (essay) by Edward Waterman, the owner of/contributor to The Barbarian Keep website and past contributor to The Dark Man (issue nos. 4 & 5). Reproduced in this essay are several letters and notes by or about Robert E. Howard.

(2) Bibliography of the Robert E. Howard Collections held at the University of California at Berkley, Bancroft Library (supplemental material) by Glenn Lord, best known as the administer/literary agent of the Howard Estate from the 70s and on, he is regarded widely as the main cataloger of all things REH (akin to S.T. Joshis relationship to HPL material).

(3) The Past is Dead, The Past is Deadly: Three Dragons in one Hour (essay) by Steven Tompkins, who has been a contributor to The Dark Man (issue no. 6) in the past, as well as to Studies in Fantasy Literature (issue no. 1) and provided the introduction to Wandering Stars reprint of the Conan tale The Black Stranger. A great critical examination of this Conan tale (The Hour of the Dragon which is also known as Conan The Conqueror).

(4) plus Fred Blossers critical review of the Del Ray Conan collection
